This months full moon, on the 21st July, is a continuation of the transformative journey you have already begun. She is a metaphor for change, personal growth and transformation; helping to guide you into your new self. What magic awaits you? Only you know!

What is the July Buck Moon?

As you enter into the second and final Capricorn full moon of the year, you are reminded to look back at your journey, to reevaluate your path, to cleanse your way and to focus on the goals you set.

If the Strawberry Moon was about feeling empowered and focused, as such the Buck Moon is a prolongation of these themes - where you acknowledge the growth made thus far and intentionally keep going.

This is a time where you begin to embrace your inner strength and trust your intuition. You may enter into a period of increased determination to see things through and feel enhanced self-awareness, change and self-discovery.

Manifesting on the Full Moon

Full moons are about endings so it is not advised to begin anything new on a full moon. Rather than setting new intentions, focus on manifesting your goals and desires. Meditate at the start of your full moon ritual and identify where you are on your journey and what progress is yet to be made, then focus on manifesting these goals into fruition and making appropriate changes where necessary.

Rituals for the Full Moon

Whatever stage you are at in your spiritual journey, you will know the power of harnessing the full moon to help you manifest. The following is a list of some very simple rituals for you to embrace during the full Buck Moon:

Charging and Cleansing Crystals

A full moon is the perfect time to charge and cleanse your crystals to clear any stagnant energy and recharge their healing powers. Please note that a small selection of crystals should not be left in moonlight.

Dancing

The act of dancing is an incredibly powerful tool to release energy. Scientifically, dancing releases endorphins which creates positive energies and helps improve your emotional state.

Smudge with Sage

Smudging dates back to the early pre-historic days. Believed to be the purest way to cleanse a person, group of persons or a space. Smudging on a full moon can be an effective way to cleanse away the old energies and focus on the new.

Take a Moon Bath

Start by leaving a bowl of moon water under the moonlight the night before. Gather your crystals, petals and essential oils and mix with the moon water. Cleanse your space, clear your mind, run your bath and bathe.

Start a Gratitude Journal

Rituals are a great time to evaluate your life. While on this journey, it is important to remain grateful for the progress made in your life so far. The full moon is a great time to journal these thoughts to help you move forward on the next stages of your journey.
