A Magical Evening
As some of my long-time followers will know, one of my best friends, fellow witch and coven sister, Emma Griffin, has just released her second book: The Witch’s Way Home. We gathered to celebrate the launch, collect our copies, and hear about the exciting things in store next.
Following a starlit sky, we embarked upon a long-awaited journey of discovery. Enys House was the venue, but it was not our destination, as we soon discovered, while making our way towards our Witch’s Path.
There has been a lot of anticipation for this book, and it is hard to believe that it has only been one year since her first book, ‘Find Your Soul Path: Discover the Magical Life Within’. I am so proud of all Emma has achieved! I was lucky to join with my husband, fellow coven sisters, and close friends as we listened intently to the exciting Q&A and enjoyed the magic of the evening through the love that was poured into every corner.
Opening their doors for Emma Griffin to showcase her book, Enys House created a suitably eerie backdrop and a captivating space of comfort and magic for the event. The moment we saw the twinkling fairy lights ahead; we knew we had made the first steps towards a magical evening. We were enticed in by the scent of warm mulled wine and greeted with a big hug from the hostess herself. The décor was quintessentially Emma, full of the bohemian witch style one is familiar with from her Instagram, complete with a witch’s circle and delicious charcuterie table, created by another of my coven sisters, Sophie. This year we were excited to cap the evening off with a good old-fashioned boogie, as the doors stayed open late, and we were treated to a DJ and dedicated dance space to enjoy.
The book is now out and I implore you to pick up a copy, but I wanted to share this extract with you where Emma answers the question: “What is a witch?”
“A witch is a wise woman or man who is unapologetically rooted in their power, living their life completely on their own terms. A witch lives and works in harmony with nature, in touch with plants and animals, connected to their inner magic, and knows how to work with their power to bring about change in the world.”
